Michelle Kaeser is a writer, born and raised in Toronto. Her fiction and essays have appeared in anthologies, journals, magazines and newspapers across the country. She was a finalist in the inaugural HarperCollinsCanada/UBC Prize for Best New Fiction; a three-time finalist in the Edna Staebler Personal Essay Contest; an honourable mention in the Prairie Fire Fiction Contest; and a two-time honourable mention for the Glimmer Train Very Short Fiction Award. The Towers of Babylon is her first novel.
